Liberty Open Call

April 2nd 2011.  Liberty Open Call for British Designers.
Many hours of queuing for 3 minutes in front of a panel to decide there and then if your product has the chance to be stocked in their store.
Terrifying.  This will be the first thing I have done like this, other than my university interviews, but then those at least gave you more chance to sell yourself!

So, I am keeping it simple and only taking a couple of bags I have made.

Have no idea how they will do, but I feel they are quite different to things that are out there.

Still in work this week though so all last minute prep has to be done very last minute!
Best go and decide what wear then!

Getting back into the swing of blogging again...
Settled down into my nannying job, and got a bit more going in the way of making things.  I am going to attempt to persuade Liberty they NEED to stock my bags at the Open Call for Designers at the weekend (pictures will be up soon!), which should be fairly exciting and terrifying!
The parents of H (15months) whom I look after have been invited to the Royal Wedding!  I personally have never been a particulary interested in the Royal Family,  (don't get me wrong... I think they're great at what they are!) but now being one step closer to the inside scoop makes it much more interesting!  Hopefully will hear all about the wonderfull evening party!
I wonder if they have the tacky DJ and the disco lights and do they all have to dance to the Cha Cha Slide?  Its a wonderful image!

However, after that brief update, for now I will leave you with a picture of Findlay, our beautiful Gordon Setter.
So bouncy and loving and will play fetch FOREVER. No honestly, if you start he would happily never stop.
